This piece was almost named “Hoop Dreams” or “The Cage” and was offered to Fila Basketball to help launch their “One Love” campaign in 2000-01. After Fila came back with an offer of $900 I decided to pull this back and use it with a friends up-and-coming basketball brand (Shirts & Skins, Inc.) as well as personal use.

This is the first edition on paper and was limited to 50 hand screen printed posters in 2007. “From the Corner” was previously printed in 2001 on T-shirts and could be found in the Portland Trailblazers store at the Rose Garden (Moda Center)
